Today is my dad's birthday. 27 years ago (coming up in February) he took a chance and adopted me so today I wanted to thank him in song as it is a milestone birthday for him today as well. There will never be enough words to thank him for all that he's done for me but this is a start. Happy Cake Day Dad! *hugs*

Catherine Marie has recently teamed up with a label from Alberta to promote her new single "Go Tell Them (Groove To This)" to commercial radio! Both camps are very excited as we both feel this single has a lot of potential in the mainstream markets. Stay tuned for further updates on her project.

The music is done, the photos have been selected, so now it is time to celebrate =D The release party for Catherine Marie's debut EP "Go Tell Them" is happening on Friday July 27th at the Fox & The Fiddle 1285 Finch Ave. West. starting at 10pm with some special guests! Hope to see y'all there!

SPECYAL T PRODUCTIONS teamed up with Markus Staley of Markus Staley Photography to do a photo shoot for Catherine Marie's upcoming Debut Ep "Go Tell Them" and also for some promo photos for Specyal T. Markus was great to work with and the shoot flew by. We also wanna give a special shout out to Samantha Compton for her amazing Make Up work. CM has worked with her before but it was my first time and I know it won't be the last =D

Yesterday was week 4 of album recording for Catherine Marie. We were once again at Massive Sound Studios to record her new track "Gonna Be" which was also produced by Massive Sound. Take Me Home (Music Tribute)

I wanted to share this musical tribute that Catherine Marie wrote for her friend's dad who's battling brain cancer. She is donating $1 (up to $200) to the Canadian Cancer Society for every name that is written in the comments section of this video, of someone who has either battled or is currently battling cancer. This hits home for me personally because when I was seven my adoptive mom passed away from ovarian cancer. So please spread the word and support cancer research!

"Keep It Classified!"

Last night Catherine Marie & Ashton Williams stopped by The Pastry Shop to record a demo for CM's new track "Classified" off her up coming debut EP. This song is about a love triangle with CM being torn between two lovers who are also friends and her not wanting to end things with either. Her boyfriend has no idea about any of this while her "lover" (Ashton) just wants her to choose him and "classify" their relationship. CM would rather just keep the whole thing Classified!

These two sound really good together and the record is coming along nicely! Check out some covers they have done together!
