Today is my dad's birthday. 27 years ago (coming up in February) he took a chance and adopted me so today I wanted to thank him in song as it is a milestone birthday for him today as well. There will never be enough words to thank him for all that he's done for me but this is a start. Happy Cake Day Dad! *hugs*

"Precious Love"

Our latest custom song was done for a very dear friend of mine that is about to have her first child! We all know babies are such a special gift so I instinctively titled it "Precious Love". The proud mom-to-be informed me that she loved her song so that's great news to us as we love to put smiles on our friends / fans & client's faces! We're so happy for both her and her boyfriend and wish them all the best  =D

The majority of the music I create is inspired by the many happenings and people in my life. Every once in a while though it seems to come outta no where and this is what I like to call instant inspiration. I randomly came across this producer from BC online Tham Moyo who is freely sharing his instrumental EP. I decided to download it as I always like discovering new music and talent. The very last beat I was completely drawn to. This led me to instinctively come up with a concept, the lyrics and then I recorded the song in a 2 day turn around. "December Rain" had been born. I sent him the song, he thought it was cool and I released it. It's getting positive feedback so I'm very pleased with that. Now realize this producer and I are total strangers to one another but musically we'll always be connected. 

Specyal Music Fact: December Rain is the first song I've released to date that I'm only singing on!

Marathon Performance #2

This year for Mother's Day, we kicked things off by entertaining the marathon runners for the Sporting Life 10K. Although it started out a little rainy, the sun did eventually come out. The runners came in droves and were great sports as a lot of them waved and gave thumps up as they passed by. We had a 2 hour set yet it seemed to go by so quick we wish we could've stayed longer! From what we saw it looks like a lot of kids will get the chance to go to camp this year and we couldn't be happier for all of them =D

Marathon Performance

This year S-T-P wanted to show their support by hyping up the runners and their supports with some live entertainment. Although there was an equipment hiccup at the beginning, Catherine Marie and I were able to pull out our set because as they always say the show must go on! The runners seemed to really enjoy "Sweat It Up!" the most as they waved and gave thumbs up to us as I was performing it =D

This Sunday we will be showing our support at the Sporting Life 10K.

Introducing "Jayde Wisdom"

After doing a couple exclusive's last year which really weren't exactly what Specyal T would do, and now with some of the new music and subject matter I've been working on has made me come to the realization that I do in fact have an alter-ego! She goes by the name of "Jayde Wisdom" and she's got a little more attitude, she's definitely more forward, will tell ya how it is, and she goes into subject matter most would shy away from all together! Once a month she may drop some new music. First up is one from last year "Purple Linen"
